Swim Fit

BOOKING PROCEDURE

• Swim Fit Swim Schools require a 50% deposit prior to the end of the current term to confirm your child’s place in the new term.
•  The final term payment is due at your child’s first lesson of the new term.
• All fees must be current for a swimmer to partake in lessons and your child’s booking will be removed if a deposit is not received by the due date or if the remaining payment of their fees is not received within the first week of term.
• Please note that our swimming lessons are very popular and as such we have a waitlist for classes. To avoid disappointment and potential removal from our system it is vital that your payment deposit is received by the due date.

REFUNDS

• Swim Fit’s policy is no refunds for classes missed or cancelled during the term.

MAKE UP LESSONS

• To be entitled to makeup lessons you must notify us at least 24 hours prior to lesson time.
• We allow 2 makeup lessons per child per term, these may not be carried over to the next term.
• If you do not turn up for a booked makeup lesson you will not be entitled to another one.
• If you are unable to book a make up lesson at a convenient time we would like to offer you the choice of ONE of the following passes to replace the missed lesson - 1 Family Entry Pass OR 1 Health and Fitness Class Pass OR 2 Child entries to the Holiday Inflatables. 

MEDICAL INFORMATION

• Please advise us on any medical condition/s that your child may have as this information could be beneficial to our teachers and your child’s learning process within the class. (All medical information is kept confidential).
• Please reschedule your class if your child has a contagious disease. Examples of these are Chicken Pox, Measles, School Sores and Head Lice.
• If your child has been ill with diarrhoea within the past 2 weeks please do not utilise the swimming pool.

 SWIMWEAR

• Board shorts & bikini's are not acceptable swim wear, proper swimmers are to be worn by both boys and girls.
• Goggles are a vital teaching aid and must be worn by all swimmers from Starfish to sharks.
• Swim Fit request that all swimmers in Mantarays and Dolphins provide their own fins.
• While your child is swimming in one of our undercover pools during lesson time it is preferred that no rash shirt be worn.
• Goldfish parents are required to wear a T-Shirt while in their class.
• All babies under the age of 2 are required to wear a water proof diaper while in our pools.

• Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied be an adult.
• Safety guidelines require all swimmers to check in at reception with their Swim Fit Membership card.
• Please escort your child to their lesson and ensure that you collect them on time at the end.
• Please wait for your child to be invited into the class by their teacher.
• Please stay back from the pool's edge while lessons are in progress. 
• NO children may swim prior to their lesson starting for optimum lesson benefits.
