Lack of direct supervision by parent or carer while your child is in the water has been the main factor in 70% of the drownings at public swimming pools. Please remember: Do not leave your child at the pool unattended. While at the pool you are responsible for your child, lifeguards do a great job of keeping our pools safe but they are not babysitters! A child's swimming ability does not indicate that they are "drown proof". Regardless of the fact that your child may be older or more capable in the water, they are still at risk of drowning. POOL RULES:
Give your child ALL your attention, stay CLOSE to them and watch them CONTINUOUSLY! |
