Coolum Aquatic Complex

Coolum Aquatic centre will be operated by Sunshine Coast Council from 11 April 2012.

Swim Fit has operated the Coolum Aquatic Centre for the past 11 years and have been very grateful for the opportunity to work with the Sunshine Coast Council and serve the Coolum community.

We would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and thank the local community and many visitors that have frequented the Coolum Aquatic Centre over the past eleven years. Your support has been greatly appreciated and we have had a blast.

We wish Sunshine Coast Council all the best with the operation of the complex in the future and know that they will continue to provide a great service and quality aquatic experience at Coolum.

We look forward to the opportunity to again one day serving the Coolum / Peregian community.

What does this mean for patrons of the Coolum Aquatic Centre?

Swim Fit and Council are working together to ensure a smooth transition of business and programs to minimise any disruption to staff, patrons and the community.

Prices – there will be no changes to entry prices for the centre as these are set until 30 June 2012
Passes – any entry passes (1, 3, 6 &12 month and 10 & 20 visit passes) still current after 11 April will be valid for use at the centre until their expiry date.  These passes may also be utilised at any other Swim Fit centre on the coast.
Service – Coolum aquatic centre will continue to provide friendly and efficient service to all our patrons.

• 25m heated pool, 27 degrees, step access, ramp access, 1.2m depth
• 12.5m enclosed heated pool, 32 degrees, step access, 0.8-1.1m depth
• Learn to Swim Program - special needs included 
• Squad programs - all levels
• Aqua aerobic Classes - Special needs included, pls discuss with instructor of session 
• Pool side Cafe
• Child Minding service
• Inflatable Fun - party hire
• BBQ facilities (on request)
• Disabled access facilities and change rooms
