At Swim Fit we like to work together with each family for the greater benefit of the children. Therefore there is a natural need for cooperation between the student, teachers and parents.
Our expectations for the student:
- They listen to their teacher’s instructions and follow them to the best of their ability
- They cooperate with other children in the class
- They display reasonable behaviour before, during and after the lessons
- They abide by all Aquatic Centre rules
- They aim to do their best
Our expectations for the parents:
- They support the teachers’ in their work with each swimmer
- If there are any issues regarding the lessons, they turn first to the Learn to Swim Coordinator in order to solve them
- If their child is misbehaving, they should remove the child from the class if they wish to talk to them about their behaviour
- They do not threaten the teachers in any verbal or physical way
Our expectations for the teachers:
- The health and safety of all swimmers in each class is of utmost priority
- They prepare for and conduct each lesson to the best of their knowledge and training
- They start and finish lessons on time
- They report back to the parents and Learn to Swim Coordinator verbally on the progress of their swimmers
- They take short written notes and plan their next lesson ahead of time
