The aim of this course is to develop an acceptable standard of knowledge & skill for the management of emergency situations where people require First Aid treatment.

  • Respiration and Circulation
  • Resuscitation
  • Victim assessment
  • Shock, Fainting and Anaphylaxis
  • Breathing Emergencies
  • Cardiac Conditions
  • Illness affecting the conscious state
  • Traumatic injury
  • Overexposure to heat and cold
  • Poisoning, Bites and Stings
  • Workplace First Aid

Pre-requisite: Nil

Minimium age: 16 years

Duration: Nominal 16 hours

Notepad and pencil

Update course: $110.00

Your course fees includes: Instruction, hire of manikins, course notes, nationally recognized qualification, First Aid manual (Full course participants only receive manual)

The First Response First Aid qualification is valid for 3 years with regular updates required.

The Resuscitation component of this course must be updated every 12 months.
