Junior Squad

The Juniors work on skill development, stamina and stroke technique. Maintaining correct technique through the drills is an important focus. The emphasis is on an enjoyment of squad sessions. Swimmers are encouraged to attend 2 / 3 sessions per week.

Goals:

  • To join club and compete at regional meets and State Sprints (Feb 09)  

Intermediate Squad

Swimmers are encouraged to attend 3 / 5 sessions per week. 

Goals:

  • To join club and compete at regional meets and State Sprints (Feb 09)

Senior Squad

Sessions are based on working towards and achieving specific performance goals that have been set by each individual athlete. Programs are formulated into cycles and designed to address all areas that influence an athlete's performance, including technique, endurance and speed. Swimmers are advised by the coach as to how many sessions per week they should attend.

Goals:

  • To be an active club member
  • To assist & support fellow squad members
  • To compete as per personal goals
